During my adventures in a local pawn shop yesterday, I stumbled upon what you see above, it was in very good shape and had all of the contents it was supposed to have, both discs, the destroyed beauty art book, etc. The discs are like new without a single scratch and there isn’t a dent to be found in the metal case. I couldn’t pass the deal up and bought it right away once the guy (who obviously knew nothing about gaming) quoted me the whopping $10 price tag. This goes to show you that you’ll never know what you’ll find in pawn shops these days………
Oh yeah, I also have a funny little story to tell you about Gamestop and how their employees (at least this one) was very wrong about a certain game. First of all, I could be what you would call a game collector, I try to get them all, at least the ones that I enjoyed. So I went in yesterday looking for Outrun 2 on the original Xbox. I asked the clerk and he went looking for it and found it! But without a case, so I had to buy just the disc, he goes on to “warn me” that this game is not playable on the Xbox 360. I just said, “oh really?, that’s ok, I’ll just play it on my original Xbox“. But I knew that this game is backwards compatible, I just really didn’t feel like arguing. So I head home and pop the game in my Xbox 360 and bang!, the game runs like a dream, just like I knew it would. This goes to show you kids, take anything a Gamestop employee tells you with a grain of salt,………..at least the Gamestop in my town.
And I must mention one other note about yesterday………the oven baked sandwiches from Domino’s RULE! I got one for the first time yesterday (chicken, bacon, ranch) and was instanty hooked! try one if you have’nt yet!
